Cornuproetus cornutus is a relatively small Moroccan trilobite, not growing much bigger the 1-2 inches at most. It dates from the Middle Devonian, approximately 390 million years ago.
This trilobite is relatively big, measuring 1.1 inches long and 1.05 inches wide. The matrix and trilobite measure 2.99 by 2.99 by 1.55 inches. The eyes have extremely well-preserved holochroal lenses. The specimen has been repaired through the cephalon and down the thorax.
