This Late Ordovician Cyclopyge sp. is somewhat rare and was found in the Lower Ktaoua Formation in Morocco. It has an eye attached to one side of the glabella. There is a second glabella on the plate as well.
The trilobite is naturally small. This specimen is 0.65 inches long (the pygidium is tucked under, but still visible) and 0.44 inches wide. Trilobites and matrix are 2.9 inches long, 3.0 inches wide and 1.0 inches high.
