This is a partial specimen of Dicranurus still embedded in its original matrix. The trilobite is from the Cravat Member of the Bois d' Arc formation, near Clarita, Oklahoma, U.S.A. It is approximately 400 million years old (Lower Devonian, Helderbergian).
The trilobite measures 0.99 inches long-the pygidium and part of the lower thorax is missing, and 0.88 inches wide. The ‘horns are intact as well as the right eye. The matrix and trilobite measures 1.3 inches long, 3.11 inches wide and 1.33 inches high. There is a repair running through the cepahlon and down the thorax.
